During the process of the liver flush, once the blockage in the biliary ducts are cleared, some of the toxins stored in the liver cells will be released into the blood stream and be carried to various parts of the body. These sudden surge of toxins in the blood stream may cause damages to the body system if a well planned preparation is not followed. If a good preparation is not taken, people may temporarily experience double vision (toxins to the eyes), serious headache (toxins to the brain), tinnitus (toxins to the ears), and some other minor or serious problems. These potential problems have nothing to do with the flush itself but are caused by the toxins released from the liver cells after the flush. So a good preparation is a must to avoid these problems. We recommend that a powerful detoxifying program shall be taken for at least three weeks before the liver flush. The detoxification shall be powerful enough to reach the cell level and shall be broad enough to give the body a complete cleansing. Powerful antioxidants shall also be taken during the preparation period to build up a firewall for the protection of the cells during the flush.
Flush Preparation Five days before the liver flush, eat 2 to 3 apples and 2 to 3 eight-oz glasses of fresh apple juice per day. The apples and apple juice can soften the stones inside the liver and the gallbladder so that they can be eliminated more easily. If fresh apple juice is not available, organic apple cider vinegar can be used instead (use 1½ to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of maple syrup or honey in a cup of warm water, 3-6 cups per day). DO NOT use box juice or bottled juice which has been processed and thus cannot soften the stones. Please make sure the intake of apples and juice or apple cider vinegar shall be taken for a period of at least 7 days before the flush.
